ARH ULTIMATE WONDER WOMAN (LYNDA CARTER) MODEL KIT Studio: ARH Studios Description: This stunning piece originated as a solid resin casting in six pieces (see below). Sculpted in a stylized likeness of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, Antony decided that he would make several modifications to the piece to turn it into an accurate portrait. As Lynda Carter in her CBS Wonder Woman costume is Antony's favorite interpretation of Wonder Woman, he had already enjoyed hours of researching photos, video footage from the series and studying every detail of the costume. Before painting, Antony reshaped the sculpt of the chin, lips, nose and eyebrows. He then custom sculpted the belt extension and the extra detail to the stylized eagle breastplate and sanded off the sculpted stars on the pants in favor of applying his own pattern accurate to the show. Also, Antony filled in the carved "stripes" on the boots in order to freehand the white boot-cap and stripe so that they also matched the design of the original costume on the show. Antony's expert paint application included mixing custom colors and having a very steady hand for the precise application of the small details that make this piece look 100% show-accurate. Final details included shaping 20-gauge gold wire to make the lasso. Antony decided not to use the diorama base since he thought it took away from the figure itself. Opting instead, for a simple tiered round base, painted black. Limited Edition of 50 numbered pieces. Hand signed and numbered on the underside of the (original) base.
