Description:
Television costume designed by Donfeld and worn by Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman in Seasons 2 and 3 of The New Adventures of Wonder Woman which aired on the CBS network from 1977-1979.

The tiara included in this exhibition is actually an exact replica of the original, which was commissioned and created for Vogue magazine by Don Hood.

The Wonder Woman costume was on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 6 - September 1, 2008 as part of the Superheroes: Fashion & Fantasy exhibition.
